High School (Grades 9-12)

We as a staff consider it an honor and privilege to serve our students and families at Heritage Christian Academy. As a school, we are committed to equipping the minds and engaging the hearts of our students on a daily basis while, and most importantly, creating an environment where students will encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Heritage Christian Academy is a distinctly Christian, college preparatory school, dedicated to equipping young Christian men and women to use their God given gifts for His glory. We do this by providing our students with a rigorous academic coursework that appeals to students with a variety of interests and academic goals. Bible is a core curriculum and the foundation of everything taught at the Academy. For students desiring to earn college credits in high school, we offer a variety of Advanced Placement courses as well Post Secondary Enrollment Options. Students interested in fine arts have the opportunity to participate and perform in vocal and instrumental music, visual arts, and dramatic arts. Students who wish to explore the field of engineering can experience coursework in Robotics, CAD, Introduction to Electronics, and Introduction to Engineering taught in an innovative and interdisciplinary setting of science, technology, and math. Students have world language opportunities as well as a rich selection of elective options that challenge and allow students to grow both academically and spiritually.

Heritage Christian Academy has a rich and growing student life environment. HCA is committed to developing all of a student’s God-given talents, thus providing leadership development through student life experiences for all students. Extra-curricular programs provide opportunities for students to participate in a wide variety of sports and activities. HCA coaches and advisors seek to train our students to be models of Christian sportsmanship while striving toward excellence in all areas.

Heritage Christian Academy‘s faculty and staff are comprised of Christian men and women who truly care for the intellectual and spiritual development of our students. In addition to providing students with an excellent preparatory education, staff seek opportunities to engage our students on a personal and spiritual level. HCA faculty members instruct in their respective disciplines from a worldview that is profoundly and distinctly Christian. As a staff, we strive to partner with parents and model for students how Christian belief and God’s truth shape and enhance understanding of the world around us.
